The Educational Technology Center, designed to offer
residents of Galesburg and
west central Illinois state-of-the-art facilities and services for
computer training, teaching and teleconferencing, is the result
of an unprecedented collaboration and outstanding support from local
businesses.
Representatives from Carl
Sandburg College, Galesburg
School District #205, and Knox
College began meeting in the spring of 1995 to devise methods
of working together for the benefit of the community. It was determined
that the development of an Educational Technology Center would provide
a variety of educational opportunities for students and staff of
each institution, as well as for the general public.
